Marble Sheet Pancakes

A delightful marbled pancake that’s quick to prepare and sure to please the whole family! Time and servings

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Butter - 30 ml
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups milk - 500 ml
- 1/2 cup sugar - 125 ml
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract - 15 ml
- 1/4 tsp Salt - 1 ml
- 3 cups all-purpose flour - 750 ml
- 1 tbsp baking powder - 15 ml
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder - 30 ml
Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Position the oven rack in the centre and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a reusable baking liner.Step 2
In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for 15 to 30 seconds.Step 3
Add the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt to the melted butter. Whisk until well combined.Step 4
Incorporate the flour and baking powder into the mixture. Whisk until the batter is smooth.Step 5
Pour about 3/4 of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and use the back of a spoon to spread it evenly.Step 6
Stir the cocoa powder into the remaining batter in the bowl until fully combined.Step 7
Drop spoonfuls of the cocoa batter over the plain batter, then swirl lightly with the handle of a spoon to create a marbled effect.Step 8
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the centre comes out clean.Step 9
Serve warm.
